Animal Generators

A land of diversity, the Grassy Hillock has endless green grasslands, gentle rolling hills, boiling geysers and a temperate forest. The open grasslands are mostly full of large grazing animals like the Wooly Wort. These beasts were eventually domesticated by the locals to become a stable supply of both meat and wool. This effort to domesticate the Wooly Worts was led by the now famous Littlefoot family. As the pioneers of this endeavor the Littlefoots gained immense wealth and fame throughout the region. Now many generations later the grasslands here are mostly known for their high concentration of farmlands owned and operated by the Littlefoot family. These farms provide most of the agricultural trade throughout the country.
While farms make up the majority of the grasslands other areas like the notorious Dead Man's Drop Forest cater to a different need. Despite its formidable name this forest is the leader in the timber trade for Veargreum. Which is impressive, considering the forest is full of dangerous wildlife to navigate. If farms or lumberyards aren’t your style then the geysers might be more your style. This series of geysers lies close to the twin coastal cities but its exact origins are unknown. Some consider they occurred naturally, thanks to hot water beneath the surface. More superstitious folk claim they are the result of a legendary monster trapped beneath the surface. Whatever the cause, the geysers are a popular tourist attraction for the area. More specifically the hotsprings made from the geyser's hot water runoff. The active geysers themselves are rarely visited as the superheated water is very unstable and dangerous. Not only that but dangerous predators inhabit the geyser's boiling waters. So whether it be beautiful grasslands, monster infested forests or relaxing hot springs the Grassy Hillock is the place to be.
