Neona sport specialized cushioned toe pads that allows them to travel without leaving discernible footprints or visible trails. In the wild this trait makes it difficult for predators to track them over long distances. Due to this trait farmers can comfortably ride atop domestsicated Neonas as they walk across fields of freshly sown crops, confident that the delicate seeds remain untouched beneath the gentle touch of their feet. Their wetland origins gifted them a distinctive tail ending in a trident-like shape. This tail not only wields the power to draw water with a swift suction, but also gives them the ability to expel jets of liquid at astonishing speeds, a strategy employed to ward off threats. A larger, forward-facing pair bestows binocular vision, enhancing their perception, while a secondary, smaller set oriented sidewards helps with peripheral vision, making it hard to sneak up on one.
