Their brass-like armor plating begins at their heads, runs down their necks, and ending in a concave, raised shell just before their tails. This natural armor grows thicker and more pronounced along their spines, providing both protection and an acoustic marvel. The armor shell amplifies the Behemoth’s bellows and collosal stomps. Male Brass Behemoths with heavily scarred or battered armor are especially admired by females, as such damage signifies experience and fortitude.

Herds of these massive creatures crossing the plains create one of the loudest and most awe-inspiring phenomena in the Musical Wilds, audible for miles around. Daring only the most specialized predators to dare approach these living juggernauts.

Leadership within the herd is held by a dominant female. Her melodic calls serve as the herd’s compass, her tones shifting from sharp, commanding blasts that spur the herd into action to soothing, harmonic hums that signal rest and safety.
