Thunderstep used to be home to a flourishing kingdom, that sought to isolate itself from the laws and prying eyes of Veargreum. For many generations this kingdom was prosperous with a well meaning monarchy and satisfied citizens. Unfortunately, their last king became obsessed with immortality. Being only a human they saw other species like the Nisari Elves and of course the Kandjii and grew envious of their extended lifespans. This drove the king into creating the Everlab 14, in hopes the lab could somehow unlock the key to immortality. Eventually the kings obsession led the kingdom to ruin. With the majority of resources being spent towards this lab, the king began to neglect its citizens. Eventually the neglect got so bad a violent uprising saw the kingdom and the labs destruction. In this destruction the king disappeared and many dangerous experiments escaped to the rest of the island.
Everlab 14 was a top secret alchemical and arcane laboratory found on Thunderstep Island. Originally made by a mad king in the hopes of gaining immortality, the lab now does all manner of illegal and immoral experimentations. The lab facility on the surface was seemingly destroyed during the citizens revolt against the kings neglect but the labs underground levels were undisturbed. After the surface facilities destruction the underground facility continued its work but under new management of the Meadows noble family.
Originally this island was home to a wide biodiversity of plant and animal life just like you would expect from any island. However, that all changed when the experiments from Everlab 14 escaped. these genetic monstrosities once loose on the island exterminated the native islands animal population. Now the only inhabitants to the island are these monsters and their offspring. Despite the danger the severe lack of biodiversity has left the ambient sound of the island eeriely quiet. Leading to the islands name of Thunderstep being created. For it is said that a single footstep on this island comes with a thunderous echo.
Nobody dares step foot on this island but passing ships have made some startling obsevrations. Humanoids walking among the trees in great numbers have sometimes been reported as of late. Wheter or not this is the work of one of the islands monstrosities attempting to lure in humanoids or something more sinister remains unknown. There are those that believe it may be the Voids Embrace cult setting up some kind of base on the island in order to get close to the capital. However, there is no concrete proof of this and may simply be the speculation of the countries citizens, while the Afflictions danger is ever present.
These plants are generally unsafe or even deadly to interact with. Either due to poison or some malevolent nature.

What kind of ideas do you accept?
We accept all kinds - SFW or within reason though. We do gore, scary, cute, and somewhere between. The main thing being that your idea is original from your mind and not copyright material. Inspiration can be gained from various sources, but the whole of the conept should be yours.
How is my idea used?
First, your idea is added to our archives offline or online depending on when and how the idea was given. Second depending on the concept we may add it to our canon pages. If it is made canon then it can potentially be seen in game, in our eventual beastiary, and more.
Will I get credit?
Of course! We attach your username (at the time of creation) to the online uploads and in the credits of things we do.
