Chemist Racks are genetically modified pitcher plants made to resemble test tube beakers. Made specifically for and by scientists who were seeking a more eco-friendly way to gather test tubes. Since their creation these plants are now found in almost every lab across Veargreum growing on vines along the lab walls. The plants are long and cylindrical in shape with transparent outer walls to allow scientists to see exact measurements. Along with being an eco-friendly and cost effective way to brew potions, the plants themselves were altered to feed on chemicals and alchemical substances. This means the plants are not harmed in the potion making process and will eventually consume the leftover potion ingredients themselves. However, this does mean alchemists need to be careful not to leave valuable potions within the plants for too long or else risk losing them.
