Patchfoots are a race of small furry humanoids that reside primarily within the Twilite Drifts Winter Court. Standing only around 3ft or 1 meter on average, with a furry tail larger than the rest of their bodies. The tails size is used as extra camouflage and cold resistance, as the patchfoots can wrap the tails around their bodies when needed. Each Patchfoot wears a unique eye mask that they craft themselves. These masks are very important in their society, as they are a reflection of the Patchfoots job and status in their societies. While important the masks are not the only thing that Patchfoots craft. They are a very innovative race, building elaborate cozy homes in giant underground burrows away from the harsh cold of the Winter Court. As well as impressive fortifications on the surface made of compacted snow and ice. They are a hunter gatherer society, feeding primarily on small burrowing creatures, subterranean plants and fungi. While not exactly food, the Patchfoots are also lovers of strange warm potions that supply one with bountiful energy upon consumption. This gives them all the energy they would need to complete the inventions they devote countless hours to. However, when preparing for a large feast or special occasion the Patchfoot hunters will form hunting parties to take down much larger prey. Thanks to the Patchfoots affinity for animal handling these hunting parties are usually aided by elemental canines called Cyrovasz. The canines' large size make them perfect mounts for the tiny Patchfoots. To be a Patchfoot is to experience curiosity and innovation, while possessing a seemingly constant source of energy and excitement for life.
