This proliferate plant has inhabited almost all ocean environments on Crius due to their Method of seeding. The ones found inside the tide pools atop Benzoahs are notable small due to the filtration system not allowing larger seed pods in. This plant utilises mimicry to attract prey, its leaves are long and thin and extend from tough rocky resin nubs produced by the plants stem. The colour of this resin can vary due to outside factors such as age/size/location but almost always it is a slightly more vibrant shade of whatever colour the stone or sediment of the area they are habituating. The flower of this plant is shaped somewhat like an umbra's maw warding off any predators. When a prey animal small enough wanders over and bites at the worm like fronds floating through the water they grapple around the fish and hold it tight, using a mildly explosive compound mix grown within the rocky resin base of the plant the flowers are shot out at the fish where the "jaws" close around the creature. The flowers are then caught by the tides and are carried around the sea using the captured prey as nutrients for the seed. once the seed has grown enough and the Resin has begun to form it grows heavy and floats down to the ocean floor planting itself. The uses for this plant are many, the compound used to propel the flowers is a potent antioxident if you can stabalise and remove its explosive nature, while the Resin can be melted down and repurpoused as an incredebly dense and stury matereal. The fronds due to their tensile strength can be used as impromptu ropes It is said that a Great old Trench umbra one day decided to create a flower resembling its own face in a bout of narcissism though this has never been confirmed by any source

This plant is called a Hydragora and lives mostly within the Coral Jungle.
