Slobbers slugs are sentient slime creatures that live in the tree canopies of the Everlit Evergreen. Utilizing their bioluminescent nodules along the underside of their body they are able to blend in seamlessly with the tree's vegetation. They use this both as a way to stay hidden from larger predators and to set ambushes against their own prey. Their main food source are the Mosscrests, who fly over the tree canopies to graze on its vegetation. So whenever a Mosscrest gets within range, the Slobber Slugs spring out and grab them with their sticky gelatinous bodies. What is strange is that the Slugs do not actually consume the Mosscrests but instead strip off the Mosscrests outer layer of vegetation that grows on their bodies. After the Slobber slug has eaten their fill of vegetation they simply release the Mosscrest, allowing them to go on their way. While this form of feeding is good for the Mosscrest who get a free spa treatment. It is quite unfortunate for any Cobble Cobbles that may have been on the back of the Mosscrest, who now find their garden stripped away.
