Silent Night Weavers are ingenious arachnids created by the creator of the Everdream Expanse themselves to help maintain the balance of dreams and nightmares. Instead of spinning typical spider webs they weave their webs in the shape of dream catchers. This allows them to catch both dreams and nightmares that happen to be unlucky enough to fly into their webs. The dream catchers they create can only trap a single dream at a time. So a Weavers territory will often be littered with dozens of individual dream catches, all filled with dreams. While not their main target, dreamers are sometimes caught in a Weavers trap. Causing that dreamer to be cut off from the rest of the dream realm. Meaning unless freed or the Silent Night Weaver is killed that individual will have dreamless nights for the rest of their days. While seen as a curse to some others who suffer from constant nightmares will actively seek out the creatures. Whether considered a curse or a blessing, the Silent Night Weavers are essential in maintaining the ecosystem of the dream realm. For without them dreams and nightmares alike would multiply uncontrollably.
