Stringweed is an ingenious marine plant that can be found within the Opal Sea. This plant grows up from the seafloor in long thin strips that wrap around each other to form sturdy rope-like vines. These Stringweed structures are loved by herbivores for their plentiful nutritious leaves. As well as being favored by smaller aquatic creatures who love to hide among the plants. Thanks to the calm waters present here there are not strong currents that would rip the individual plants apart. Individuals who frequent the Opal Sea will often collect Stringweed in order to use it as ropes for their ships and nets, as even out of water it retains its rigidity.
