Orbstracts are common flowering plants found within the confines of the Chorus Crater. While the appearance of this plant varies wildly they all have one thing in common. A glowing purple orb that contains the stored minerals and radiation that the plants consume from the soil. Feeding off of radiation was already odd for a plant but they get weirder. While not truly sentient they do have increased intelligence for a plant, around the same as a common Catamew. This means they can make concise decisions. As well as have likes, dislikes and preferences. These types of preferences most likely come into play when they interact with their favorite pollinators, the Orbeets. These insects collect the radiated pollen from the plant while giving the plant new DNA strains. These new DNA strains allow the plant's offspring to take new shapes and abilities. This adaptability is why no two Orbstract plants look alike. It also explains how the Orbstracts are able to fill so many different flora niches throughout the crater.
