Esphee is a type of cacti that grows in the deserts of Crius. Seen by the desert inhabitants as a life giving miracle to those who are frequently without shade or fresh water. This is because the cacti has a large umbrella shaped top, that provides shade from the harsh desert heat. Not only that but the cactus produces a slime that acts as both a natural sunscreen and a hydrating liquid. It does this by absorbing all of the nearby hydration from the desert sand in which it is buried, making the surrounding sand look more barren than usual. The top part of the plant expands as it draws in heat and then when it reaches a certain temperature it contracts to drop its temperature. As a result of this expanding and contracting a cool breeze and slight rain are created surrounding the cactus. Often times where the slime rains down ends up being the location of a new Esphee plant, as their slime actually contains the cactus seeds. Unfortunately because Esphee plants absorb the hydration from the nearby soil, a newer Esphee plant will most likely die before reaching its full size. That is if it begins growing too close to an already established cactus. This is why the Esphee trains the local animals to consume the refreshing slime it produces. A desert animal consuming the seeds this way means the likely hood of that animal traveling a safe distance away from the original Esphee before eventually excreting the seeds much higher. This  gives that new plant a much better chance of survival. The symbiosis here not only benefits the animals who acquire shade and hydration but also acts as free transportation for the seeds of the cactus.
