Lumbering in large herds across the prairie are the Wooly Worts. These slow moving but massive herbivores spend most of their days munching on grasses. They feed on the grasses by dragging their trunks across the ground and passing it to the Wooly Worts mouths located beneath their heads. The thick fur covering their bodies helps insulate them during the colder times of the year. However, the fur is so thick it also covers up the Wooly Worts eyes, making them practically blind. This lack of vision mixed with the Wooly Worts simple intelligence can make them dangerous to approach. As they are likely to charge or stampede anything that gets too close, fearing anything could be a predator. Getting in the way of a charging Wooly Wort could spell disaster. Not only do they weigh several hundred pounds but they also have a set of large tusks protruding from their face. Luckily their eight pillar like legs are more equipped for simply holding up their massive bodies opposed to traveling at fast speeds.
