There are few creatures deadlier living among the giant twisted branches and lush foliage of the Tatmatoea Tree than the Trinavore. These powerful predators are several hundred pounds of pure muscle. The muscles in their back legs are especially strong, which they use to jump great distances from tree branch to branch in pursuit of prey. When they catch up to a prey item they use their facial horns to skewer smaller prey, like Plooku. With larger prey they simply attempt to gravely wound with their horns and wait for the animal to succumb to the injury. While Trinavores have poor eyesight they make up for it with excellent hearing. Their large ears allow them to triangulate the position of their prey before beginning the chase. Their thick shaggy fur allows them to stay warm among the high altitudes of Tamatoea Tree, which pierces the clouds. Although they are very aggressive beasts it is not uncommon for native residents of Tamatoea Tree to attempt to tame a specimen. For a tamed Trinavore makes a strong mount and protector, if you can get one on your side.
