Thryzogoths are ancient creatures believed to have been shaped by wild magic in the first age. Worshipped by early mountain tribes as divine messengers, they’re often seen as omens of great change. Their presence inspires awe, not fear, as they rarely show interest in beings smaller than themselves unless provoked. Towering over treetops, Thryzogoths resemble massive, ornately patterned Goliath beetles with shimmering gold-and-ebony carapaces. Males boast immense Y-shaped horns, while females are sleeker but equally formidable. Their wings hum like thunder when they take flight. Once thought extinct Thryzogoths were rediscovered roosting in the Tormek Mountains. Scholars now believe they retreated from the world due to its growing noise and chaos, preferring the silence of forgotten places.

This CR17 creature is called a Thryzogoths and is an Insect that lives mostly within the Mountain.
