Tatoe Tots are small fey beings barely larger than an apple, who possess short stubby limbs with a round wooden body topped by some form of plant or fungus. Due to their fey origins, the Tatoe Tots are blessed with innate magical abilities such as realm travel, teleportation, ageless bodies and simple spell casting. Despite all these powers it is still possible to destroy a Tatoes physical form. After which their fey spirit will simply return to their home realm the Twilite Drift, to be reborn. While the Tatoe Tots are unable to communicate through speech with mortals, they emit endearing squeaky noises that their fellow Tatoes and their close kin, the Kinlings, can understand with ease. These curious creatures harbor an insatiable appetite for novelty and take great delight in crafting whimsical contraptions, often utilizing wood and other available materials. Although they possess independent natures, Tatoes are highly social and can commonly be found in groups. Tatoes are also more formidable in groups as they can synchronize their magical energies, channeling their simple spells simultaneously to produce exponentially amplified effects.
