Shadow Prowlers possess the overall shape of enormous canines, though their forms are clearly unnatural upon closer inspection. Their bodies are composed of concentrated darkness given physical substance, creating the illusion of black fur while lacking any true hair. Every contour of their anatomy appears unnaturally sharp and well-defined, from their broad shoulders and powerful limbs to their long, predatory muzzles. Even in the faint glow of the Gloom's crystals, their bodies seem to absorb surrounding light rather than reflect it, making them appear as moving voids cut into reality itself. These moving voids serve a crucial purpose within the eternal darkness of the Gloom, maintain the dark gods rules. The most crucial of which being no natural light is permitted within the Glooms boundaries. For those who break this most sacred of rules will find themselves hunted by a legion of hive minded creatures that do not tire and do not show mercy.
