When looking at the beauty of the coral reefs one could almost miss its smallest resident. Hiding there inside air bubbles rising to the surface, is a beetle. Not just any beetle but a beetle specifically adapted to surviving in the ocean, the Scuba Scarab. These Scarabs have an iridescent light blue shell and round body. Under its shell its wings are thicker and more membranous than a normal beetle, with fin-like edges, to help propel it through the water as well as fly short distances. These beetles not only use bubbles as sanctuary below the waves but also as a form of defense and travel. The antennae of Scuba Scarabs are able to form and manipulate bubbles. In this way they can create a stream of bubbles to either speed their swimming or help mask their escape. Oftentimes these beetles will form bubbles near the ocean floor, attaching them to coral to keep them from floating away. They are also able to unanchor these bubbles quickly in order to quickly send the bubbles to the ocean surface.

This CR0 creature is called a Scuba Scarab and is a Beast that lives mostly within the Coral Reef.
