When it comes to making deals with the fey, be very careful. For breaking a deal with a fey may result in becoming a cursed creature known as a Quipless. Quipless are the result of breaking a deal one made with a vengeful fey. They are small impish beings with large wooden heads dressed in clownlike clothing. The center of their faces is a mouth that contains a single large eye. The sides of their heads have parallel jester hat structures ending in metal bells. These are no ordinary bells but are extra pairs of mouths. These mouths are how this being talks, giving them a chittering discordant speaking manner. Being born from fey magic the Quipless are able to float, pass through solid objects and create minor illusions. Due to their curse the Quipless are doomed to this form for all of eternity unless they are able to make enough sentient beings laugh. The trouble with this is that their haunting appearance and speaking manner make this a daunting task. Not only that, each time the Quipless scares someone they gain an additional polka dot on their clothes. These dots represent the amount of laughs a Quipless must create in order for them to be freed. Until that happens they are cursed to roam the planes for all eternity, or until the vengeful fey forgives them.
