Many creatures rely on blending in with their environment in order to avoid predation, the Lilaval is not one of them. Adorned in beautiful blue and orange feathers, they stand out quite easily within the lush Severed Wilds Jungle. This mixed with the fact they are only about 3ft or 1 meter tall would make one assume they are an easy picking for keen eyes predators. However, their bright coloration tricks most predators into thinking they are poisonous. This is even if the predators can get close enough to see them in the first place. Thanks to the Lilavals mustache-like antennae giving them an extraordinary sense of smell. That combined with their incredible eyesight makes it hard for a predator to sneak up on them in the first place. The Lilaval spend most of their time in the forest canopy. Utilizing their insectoid feet to grip tree bark as their tails provide additional balance. The tree canopy is also home to their favorite foods, fresh fruits. Which their strong beaks let them easily break into. Their favorite fruits are also what over time gives them their gorgeous feathered coloration. This color is present when they are born but it gets more and more vibrant as they age and continue to consume the fruits.
