Stalking the Glittering Glades is a strange creature, not one composed of flesh but of stone. Its shape is vaguely feline but made of segmented geodes that seem to be held together by magic or magnetism. Unlike a living animal the Leopardyte does not hunt for food but rather stalks its territory looking for trespassers. Legends say the first Leopardyte was created by a Wizard who wanted to make a magical companion for their child. After an unfortunate accident their child was lost, and in the wizards grief they continued to make the geode companions in order to have some part of their lost love continue to exist in the world. Now the wizard is believed long gone but their creations continue to guard the grasslands to this day.
