In order to garner additional support and funding from the upper echelon of society and nobility the creators of the Everlab 14 designed a special experiment. Thus the Crown Chomper was born, a lap dog sized canine that would surely impress nobility into funding the lab. While their appearance seems to be that of an unimposing small dog, they have rather unique traits. The most obvious is their jaws, which while relaxed look like a very wrinkly face. However, the wrinkles are due to the jaws ability to rapidly shoot out from their body much farther than one would assume. Not only that but their tongues seem to have a set of jaws as well. This bizarre mouth structure allows the Crown Chomper to quickly defend their owners without even needing to move their bodies. The inner jaws at the end of their tongues are even able to disrupt spells. Meaning nobility gifted a Crown Chomper need not worry about neither blade nor spell harming them. A creature such as this might seem a possible danger to even their owners but worry not. The Crown Chompers were designed with an undying loyalty for their selected masters. A Crown Chomper without a master will end up imprinting on the first humanoid figure it can find.
