Brain Fogs are small elementals made of mist that dwell within the realm between realms. Originally created by Gloamhitchs who while performing their early experiments in fog manipulation learned they could do more than simply alter the shape of the fog, but also breathe life into it. The only problem is once the Brain Fogs were created the Gloamhitchs realized they had very limited control over them and eventually abandoned their creations. See the Brain Fogs as their name would suggest are the living embodiment of the confusion and disorientation making them very poor at taking orders. Now the Brain Fogs wander the Fog Forest looking to make friends with whoever they find. Whether it be mortal souls, traveling adventurers or other monsters lurking in the forest. Despite the Fogs simply wanting companionship their love comes at a cost. Whenever a Brain Fog finds a friend it will float over and hug their face, which possesses the being. While possessed the host feels a sense of confusion making it likely that they will venture off of the trail or walk right into danger. While they may cause unforeseen dangers the possessed host is also granted additional vitality from the magic they possess.
