Banaguanas are strange arboreal lizards native to the Severed Wilds jungle. These reptiles are masters of camouflage, using their wooden textured scales and flat body to remain indistinguishable from the trees in which they climb. Not only are their bodies the color of wood but their tails grow long yellow fruits. While letting their tails dangle from the tree branches, any predator would be quick to dismiss them for just a part of the tree. While adult Banaguanas have a full bushel of fruit on their tails, young specimens may only have one or two. Pregnant females have even more fruit present on their tails. Well their eggs at least look the same as the normal fruit that they grow. This adaptation helps guard the eggs from would-be egg thieves who wouldn't think to take a bite into a fruit while searching for eggs. The actual fruits of their tails are highly nutritious and the Banaguanas will often give them to friendly forest creatures in return for protection. That way the lizard gets a bodyguard while the other creature gets a source of tasty nutrients.
This CR0 creature is called a Banaguana and is a Beast that lives mostly within the Tropical Rainforest.
